In 2013 PSE Information Systems worked with the Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corporation to understand their organizational culture. Utilizing the Competing Values Framework (Cameron & Quinn, 2011), the project sought to document staff perceptions of their current organizational as well as their preferred culture.
Web-based surveys of support staff and management were deployed to collect the perceptions of both groups. Results showed that both groups were congruent in their perceptions of the current culture as well as their desired or ‘preferred’ culture.
Survey findings were used by senior management to initiate a dialogue with staff regarding transformational strategies to achieve the desired culture.
